We have had TONS of distractions this summer in Bend. I can’t believe we have been in town for 2 months and just finally getting finished with all the hard work.
We had guests from Norway, Colorado, Washington and California.
Nomads here, there and everywhere.
Nosh Bus – Howard and Lauren met up with us for some beers down on the river. The Fermentation Celebration is an annual event that we highly recommend. We even discovered an alcoholic version of Kombucha that was YUMMY!
Rolling Recess – Jeff and Deb of stopped by and shared a beer with us when they passed through Bend.
Wandering With Purpose – Dave and Kelly stayed in nearby Sisters and journeyed over here for drinks. Always fun to connect with them. I think this was the third state we have connected in (Arizona, California and Oregon).
Jase and Lauri have been hanging with us several times this summer, even camping in the driveway. We now officially look like trailer trash with all the RV’s and campers in the driveway. We had a little too much fun at the breweries and breaking in the new patio. We even floated the Deschutes on a hot day. A few days of liver recovery were needed after they left. Can’t wait to meet up again in Mt. Angel for Oktoberfest and on San Juan Island!
We missed a few people who have rolled through and still have a few more people coming to visit. We may be working hard this summer, but we have definitely made time to see friends old and new.
