We have been using a great site Campendium to research places to stay. It is great to read reviews and get a good impression from other travelers. We spend a bit of time planning our travel and this tool is amazing. Of course through this process I have learned that we need to refine what it is we want and what amenities are important. A process we are continuing to refine. Research before you arrive is the key to a successful stay!
Our recent stay at a Thousand Trails outside of Cottonwood was a big learning experience. We want and need internet and phone connection. Without it we are cranky! Staying next to cousin Eddy and his antics (imagine the sewer hose and a bag of Doritos) and you get unhappy campers. Here is the review I wrote on the experience – my first every 1 star review. Verde Valley RV Resort
I encourage everyone to use this site and add more reviews! We love seeing what you think of an area before we arrive.
